Nyah, Nyah, another boring summer day. I might actually be getting a job though. I applied to the local food store chain (they replaced Super Value) and even though they have most of their summer staff, they still might hire another person. God, I'm so tired of this rejection thing. I've applied for the mine tour job, at both local libraries, at least three restaurants, forget the other places, and I'm always passed up for someone with more experience. HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET EXPERIANCE WITHOUT A JOB??!!! So frustrating. It's all rather depressing, too.
On the up side I do get to go to the Nelson annual StreetFest, which is basically a huge sidewalk sale/performance thingy where the city hires all sorts of buskers and street performers and cool stuff like that. There's usually a live band somewhere on the streets, too. Great fun. Maybe I can even convince my parents that I need to bring a friend along to keep me company and look at all the stores with me >)
Oh well, it's been a blah day in general, I haven't actually *seen* Britz in 2+ weeks, haven't talked to her in 1+, and that's eating at me, too. At least I got to spend that 24+ hours straight with Tanya a few days back, and Nicole even came to visit me before heading off to practice long-distance biking. I guess it's not too bad. Perhaps I should watch StarWars Ep.1 tonight...
Gomen about this being so short, I really should write more, but I have to work on a pic for my intro to an art board I found.
